Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is offered for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It should be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
